Horse Feathers Equine Center is pleased to announce they are participating in the ASPCA Help A Horse Day this year. Their event is April 23 at Liberty Lake here in Guthrie.
In conjunction with the event, the Oklahoma Equestrian Trail Riders Association and the Logan County Trail Riders are making donations to make improvements for equestrians. Part of the event will be to pick trash up from the trails, install a hitching post, a picnic table and mounting aids.
The access fee will be waived that day. Bring your horse and ride and clean the trails or help with what else is happening.
If you’re unable to attend you can help by donating from this Friday, April 1 to April 23 and help raise as much money as possible. No amount is too small. If you want to donate by check, you can post date it for anytime after April 1, 2016 and send to: Horse Feathers Equine Center, PO Box 1372, Guthrie OK 73044.
