The Guthrie Fire Department was called out to a house fire in the 400 block of N. Broad Friday morning.
Upon arrival, fire crews found smoke billowing from the home at 409 N. Broad and found smoke and flames coming from back of the residence.
There was no one at home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.
Firefighters believe the source of the fire was a hot water tank.
Crews had to cut a portion of the house’s siding out on the north side to allow smoke to escape. The majority of the damage was kept to the back of the home.
OG&E and ONG were called to the scene to disconnect services to the house.
