Jury trials across the state postponed; Logan County court docket schedule

Due to the state of emergency declared amid COVID-19 coronavirus concerns, the Supreme Court of Oklahoma has canceled all district jury trials in the state for the next 30 days.

All district courts, including Logan County, are ordered to cancel all jury terms for the next 30 days and to release jurors from their service.

Jurors can also not be summoned over the next 30 days without prior approval from the Chief Justice. All civil, criminal and juvenile jury trials will be continued to the next available docket.

In response to the COVID-19 global outbreak, The Logan County Court System is taking the following actions:  

  • All Jurors that have received a summons to report April 6, 2020 will no longer need to report
  • All Jury Trials, non-jury trials and preliminary hearings are hereby stricken for the months of March and April.
  • All in custody Felony and Misdemeanor dockets shall continue to operated as scheduled.
  • All out of custody Felony and Misdemeanor scheduled for March 20, 2020 is re-scheduled for May 15, 2020
  • All out of custody Felony and Misdemeanor scheduled for April 3, 2020 is re-scheduled for May 1, 2020
  • All out of custody Felony and Misdemeanor scheduled for April 20, 2020 is re-scheduled for May 15, 2020
  • All Civil Dockets scheduled for March 20, 2020 is re-scheduled for May 15, 2020, with the exception of statutory time limits for hearing.
  • All Civil Dockets scheduled for April 3, 2020 is re-scheduled for May 1, 2020, with the exception of statutory time limits for hearing.
  • All Civil Dockets scheduled for April 20, 2020 is re-scheduled for May 15, 2020, with the exception of statutory time limits for hearing.
  • All Domestic Dockets scheduled for March 24, 2020 is re-scheduled for May 26, 2020
  • All Domestic Dockets scheduled for April 7, 2020 is re-scheduled for May 5, 2020
  • All Domestic Dockets scheduled for April 28, 2020 is re-scheduled for June 23, 2020
  • All Deprived dockets scheduled for March 18, 2020, April 1, 2020 and April 15, 2020 will be re-scheduled for May 2020.(please contact your attorney or case worker for your exact date.)
  • All Juvenile Delinquent dockets for April 1, 2020 and April 15, 2020 will be re-scheduled for May 2020. (please contact your attorney or the Office of Oklahoma Juvenile Affairs for your exact date.)
  • All Probate, Guardianship and Adoption Dockets scheduled for March 24,2020 is re-scheduled for May 26, 2020.
  • All Probate, Guardianship and Adoption Dockets scheduled for March 31, 2020 is re-scheduled for May 5, 2020.
  • All Probate, Guardianship and Adoption Dockets scheduled for April 7, 2020 is re-scheduled for May 12, 2020
  • All Probate, Guardianship and Adoption Dockets scheduled for April 14, 2020 is re-scheduled for May 19, 2020
  • All Probate, Guardianship and Adoption Dockets scheduled for April 21, 2020 is re-scheduled for May 19, 2020
  • All Probate, Guardianship and Adoption Dockets scheduled for April 28, 2020 is re-scheduled for June 23, 2020
  • All Preliminary Hearing Dockets scheduled for March 26, 2020 is re-scheduled for May 28, 2020.
  • All Preliminary Hearing Dockets scheduled for April 23, 2020 is re-scheduled for June 25, 2020.
  • All Misdemeanor Dockets scheduled for April 9, 2020 is re-scheduled for June 11, 2020.
  • All Revocation Dockets scheduled for April 10, 2020 is re-scheduled for June 12, 2020.
  • All Traffic Citations for April 8, 2020 will remian on that date.  You can pay your tickets on or before your court date online at www.oscn.net.
  • All Small Claims Dockets set April 2, 2020 is re-scheduled to May 7, 2020
  • All Small Claims Dockets set April 21, 2020 is re-scheduled to May 19, 2020
  • Arraignments will remain daily at 1:30pm
