Lawn equipment stolen from cemetery

A Guthrie cemetery was hit last week when several lawn equipment items were stolen.

Memory GardensAccording to a police report, two John Deere zero-turn mowers, a chainsaw, weed eater and compressor were reported missing on June 10 from the privately owned Memory Garden Cemetery.

The report goes on to say that there was no force entry observed.

It is unknown of the dollar amount that was taken, but is estimated well into the thousands.

Last August, thieves struck the adjacent Summit View Cemetery that is operated by the City of Guthrie. The crooks had broken into the storage sheds and took off with four-commercial zero turn lawnmowers, eight weed-eaters, several yard blowers and two chain saws.
