The Logan County Sheriff’s Office is revealing some of their new police cruisers and informing the public.
Deputies have begun patrolling in the new vehicles and want citizens to know they have changed logos on the new units.
“We’re changing the worn-aged decals,” Lt. Marcus Williams said. “We want the public to see what they (new decals) will look like so no one is concerned about being pulled over on a traffic stop by a unfamiliar unit.”
Sheriff Damon Devereaux says their will not be much change in the looks of the cruisers.
“From the front they will look the same,” Devereaux said. “The purpose was not to be incognito. We aren’t required to have markings on our units. This is a more cost effective way to identify our units. Savings is around $800.00 per unit.”
Hideous, looks cheap as hell. You can’t even read who they belong to unless you are a couple feet away!

It would be cool if you added a Sheriff on the quarter panel or below the decal in letters to kind of give a idea who it is.
