This month the Guthrie Noon Lions Club recognized Guthrie High School Seniors Kiah Thomas and Gavin Brison for their leadership, athletic and academic achievements.
Kiah, who is the daughter of Comanche and Diana Thomas, participates on the basketball and tennis teams and was selected to the American Legion sponsored “Girls State” leadership development program. She will be attending a local college in the fall with a focus on business.
Gavin is the son of Tori Trice and Timyrus Brison and is on the football, basketball and track teams. He was selected for the “Boys State” program. He will be attending college in the fall with a focus on medical sciences and an ultimate goal of becoming a physician assistant.
