Tickets for the “all you care to eat” feast are $8 for adults and $5 for children.

Cheryl Tarter, Pancake Co- Chair, noted, “This is one of the fund raisers that we have throughout the year in order to financially support the many community service activities we feel passionate about. 100 percent of the ticket price goes directly to projects such as our special eye care programs for the needy, support of Boys State and Girls state participants, donations to such worthy causes as United Way of Logan County and Guthrie’s YMCA, the Territorial Sports Museum and college scholarships for high school seniors.”

Richard Ireton, Co-Chair added, “Come have some really good pancakes, sausage, juice and coffee, enjoy the fellowship of others, buy some tickets for great raffle items and help the Lions make a difference in our community through your ticket sale.”

The Guthrie Noon Lions Club meets every Friday at noon at the First United Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall on Noble.  Each week, in addition to a wonderful meal and meaningful fellowship, a special guest presentation is made, generally focusing on a program, process or activity that directly affects our community and our lives.

Membership Chair, Lion Sylvia Ochs, added, “Lions are women and men who want to make a positive impact on their community. Membership is open to all who want to make a difference, to all who want “to serve”. Join us and help make that motto happen again in 2014.”
