Logan County Courthouse to close following COVID case

The Logan County Courthouse and Annex will be closing on Monday and reopening on Thursday after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

A Logan County official said on Monday the employee had tested positive over the weekend, but says that person had minimal contact with the public.

“We are confident that the employee involved has had little to no contact with the public inside of the building,” the official said in a release.

The courthouse, including the court system and district attorney’s office, will close at 3 p.m. on Monday and will reopen on Thursday, July 9 at 8 a.m.

The courthouse will undergo a deep cleaning and disinfection of all surfaces for the staff and public.
