Love’s stores in Guthrie raising money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals

Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores in Guthrie are raising money for Children’s Hospital Foundation, the local Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospital affiliate. The campaign runs through Sept. 30.

The new store on the east side of I-35 is selling #ChooseGuthrie t-shirts with proceeds benefiting the hospital. In addition, the store is raffling off items such as a tailgate package, local art, gift cards to The Pollard Theatre and more.

Four local businesses have made $50 donations and are displayed on large paper balloons in the Carl’s Jr. Those donations were made from Sarah Whitt AAA Insurance, Benton’s, Kevin Craft State Farm Insurance and Kristy Gatlin Shelter Insurance.

The events are part of Love’s annual companywide campaign to raise money for CMN hospitals. All the money raised locally goes to Children’s Hospital Foundation, which raises money for OU Children’s.

From August 26 through September 30, more than 390 locations are raising money for local CMN Hospitals by selling paper balloons for $1, $5 or $20, and hosting various events.

For 18 years, Love’s and its customers have raised more than $15 million to help sick and injured children.

CMN Hospitals raises money for 170 partner hospitals across North America. You can learn more on their website.
