Love’s Travel Stops celebrates coffee and kids for National Coffee Day

Customers who fill up with coffee from Love’s Travel Stops (Love’s) on National Coffee Day can have their cup and save a life, too. Sales from all 24 oz. hot beverages benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to help sick and injured children Friday, September 29. In honor of the special day, 24 oz. coffees and cappuccinos are available for only $1 from 12:01 a.m. – 11:59 p.m. Professional truck drivers who are My Love Rewards members can use a free drink refill credit on coffee, and Love’s will still donate $1 to CMN Hospitals on their behalf.

“Love’s has supported CMN Hospitals for 18 years, and donating money from coffee and cappuccino sales is another way we can keep supporting a great organization while giving Customers something they love,” said Jenny Love Meyer, vice president of communications for Love’s. “National Coffee Day falls toward the end of our annual companywide campaign to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals so it’s a perfect opportunity to help more kids in need.”

Customers can choose from Love’s signature house and decaffeinated coffee brews, as well as the recently added 100 percent Colombian blend, at more than 430 locations in 41 states. Customers can fill up with pumpkin spice cappuccino for a limited time. French vanilla cappuccino and hot chocolate are also available.

Love’s annual campaign to raise funds for CMN Hospitals began August 26. The company is more than halfway to its 2017 store campaign goal of $2.6 million. Donations collected at Love’s locations go to the partner hospital in that community to help local children. Customers can support their local hospitals through September 30 by purchasing a CMN Hospitals Miracle Balloon for $1, $5 or $20.

Since 1999, Love’s has raised more than $18 million for the nonprofit. Of the 170 CMN Hospitals members throughout North America, 101 benefit from Love’s annual campaign.
