ThumperSpradlin and his side-kick, Thumper, have compiled their new book “Thumper and the Squirrels” and will have the book for sale on Friday and Saturday. While Thumper will not be able to attend, the Mayor will be on hand to autograph the books on his behalf.

On Friday (July 19), Spradlin will be at Rick’s Fine Chocolates and Coffees from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and on the following day will be at Stables Café from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There you can purchase the book ($9.75) and begin learning about Thumper and his arch enemies, the little sneaky squirrels, who are always trying to invade his area and tries to keep them out in a contested, but in the end everyone has a fun time.

At Rick’s, if you purchase a book and a cold drink you receive your next cold drink half off.
