Leading the way for the Even (graduating years) ball club were the McDonald brothers. BJ McDonald, current GHS assistant coach, paved the way with 27 points and was followed up by Kent McDonald’s 24. Codee Gross chipped in with 21 points and Jonathan Washington, current Guthrie Junior High coach, added 20.

The McDonald brothers and Washington were pivotal parts in helping the Jays capturing the 2008 State championship.

In the losing cause, the Odds Team was paced by Keaton Callins’, a key member of the 2008 and 2009 back-to-back state title teams, with 23 points. Brian Reed added 17 points.
