Mercy Hospital Logan County co-workers celebrated “bed”lam by hosting a food drive to support the backpack program for Guthrie Junior High (GJHS) and Guthrie High School (GHS). In the competition for most items collected, teams filled two hospital beds.
The final outcome was similar to the contest on the gridiron with Oklahoma University supporters pulling in 3,196 items and Oklahoma State University with 2,551 items.
GHS Principal Chris LeGrande and GJHS Principal Robbie Rainwater were present to help with the final count of the 5,747 items.
