Motorcyclist killed north of Guthrie

A Logan County man was killed on Saturday in a fatal motorcycle crash north of Guthrie.


Paul Fitzpatrick, 53, of Mulhall was driving his motorcycle when he missed a curve and crashed into a ditch.

Fitzpatrick was pronounced dead at the scene by Guthrie EMS.

According to a report by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Fitzpatrick was driving a 2004 Harley Davidson northbound on US-77 (near County Road 74) when it came to a curve in the road.

Troopers report the driver was going too fast and departed the roadway to the right 213 feet and struck a ditch.
