Mulhall-Orlando FFA earns national recognition

Mulhall-Orlando FFA is celebrating an exciting year of accomplishments as three national recognitions bring the chapter to the national stage. Two Mulhall-Orlando FFA members, Denver McKay and Jace Taylor, have been named National FFA Proficiency Finalists, while the Mulhall-Orlando FFA Chapter has earned recognition as a National 3-Star Chapter.

Denver McKay is a National Proficiency Finalist in Beef Production–Placement. Through his Supervised Agricultural Experience, Denver has gained valuable hands-on experience in the beef industry while developing the skills, knowledge, and responsibility necessary to succeed in production agriculture. His dedication to his SAE has taken him from experiences here in Oklahoma to the national level of FFA competition.

Jace Taylor has also earned a place among the nation’s top FFA members as a National Proficiency Finalist in Agricultural Mechanics Design and Fabrication–Entrepreneurship/Placement. Through his SAE, Jace has developed skills in agricultural mechanics, design, fabrication, entrepreneurship, and problem-solving. His experiences have allowed him to apply his skills in real-world situations while continuing to build toward his future.

Being named a National Proficiency Finalist is one of the highest recognitions an FFA member can receive for their SAE. For Denver and Jace, reaching this level represents countless hours of work, dedication, and commitment to their respective areas.

Along with the accomplishments of Denver and Jace, the Mulhall-Orlando FFA Chapter has been selected as a National 3-Star Chapter. The National Chapter Award recognizes FFA chapters for their accomplishments and impact through their activities, leadership development, and service to their communities. Earning 3-Star recognition is the highest level of achievement available through the National Chapter Award program.

These accomplishments are especially meaningful for a chapter from a small Oklahoma community. They represent the work of not only Denver and Jace, but the collective effort of Mulhall-Orlando FFA members, advisors, families, school, and community.

This October, Denver McKay, Jace Taylor, and representatives of the Mulhall-Orlando FFA Chapter will travel to Indianapolis, Indiana, for the 2026 National FFA Convention & Expo. Denver and Jace will be represented as National Proficiency Finalists, while the Mulhall-Orlando FFA Chapter will be recognized as a National 3-Star Chapter.

From a small town in Oklahoma to Indianapolis, this year’s accomplishments are a reflection of what dedication, opportunity, and hard work can accomplish. Mulhall-Orlando FFA is proud to have Denver, Jace, and the chapter representing our community at the national level.
