Update: One killed in head-on collision on Hwy 33

A Tuesday morning vehicle accident on Highway 33 has claimed a life.

Wreck 05282013Emergency crews were dispatched one-and-half mile east of Hwy 74 on Hwy 33 at 10:06 a.m. for a two-vehicle head on collision.

Bobby Fuller, 61, of Oklahoma City was quickly transported to Mercy Hospital Logan County, but was pronounced dead a short time later.

The second victim Bobby Kendrick, 19, of Crescent was listed in stable condition and was airlifted to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

The collision occurred on the eastbound shoulder.

According to OHP, Kendrick’s Hyundai Sonata was traveling westbound while Fuller was traveling eastbound and for unknown reasons Kendrick crossed the center line and struck Fuller’s Mitsubishi Montero.

The report shows Fuller attempted to take evasive action by pulling onto the shoulder. However, Kendrick’s vehicle continued to travel onto the outside shoulder of the eastbound lane striking the vehicles head on.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

OHP continues to investigate the case where charges could be filed.

    Where is Bobby Fuller’s funeral and when is it? Also did anyone ever find out what the 19 year old Bobby was doing to cross the yellow line?
