  1. As much as I like Ogle-free tv, I stuck with channel 4 because he knows Oklahoma weather like the back of his hand despite his storm chaser getting lost somewhere. I don’t think they ever figured out where she was . . .at least from how she sounded. Damon Lane will be good once he gets a few season under his belt, but I really wish Rusty was on the air that day because he’s been around Oklahoma a few years and knows our skies pretty well.

WE HAVE BEEN WATCHING 5 AND 9 MORE AND MORE BECAUSE OF MIKE MORGAN’ ALARMIST REACTIONS TO STORMS. TELLING PEOPLE TO GET IN THEIR CARS TO OUTRUN A TORNADO WAS IRRESONSIBLE AND PUT MANNY PEOPLE ON THE HIGHWAYS. IF MY KIDS HAD HEADED SOUTH OUT OF YUKON THERE IS A CHANCE THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN CAUGHT IN THE STORM. AS IT WAS THEY GOT IN THEIR CAR AND CAME TO THEIR GRANDPARENTS HOME NORTH OF YUKON. IN 70+ YEARS I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN TOLD THE MOST UNSAFE PLACE TO BE IS IN YOUR CAR. THANK GOODNESS FOR THE CALM WAY THE OTHER STATIONS REPORTED THE STORMS.

    • Gary England was telling people to get in a ravine. They’re still looking for five of the people that did just that. Damon Lane will be good. He just needs to get some experience under his belt.
