Original Story

A man was stabbed and killed overnight in Logan County. Now, investigators are searching for the suspects.

On Monday, three deputies with the Logan County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to 8980 Ridgecrest Road, near the intersection of Forrest Hills Rd and Midwest Blvd., at approximately 3:43 a.m. for a male victim who had been stabbed in the abdomen.

The victim was pronounced dead at around 4:30 a.m. His identity has not been released at this time.

A female living inside the home informed deputies that two Hispanic males were in possession of a gun and took off on foot following the stabbing.

The woman, along with a baby, dashed to a nearby home to seek protection until deputies could arrive to the home.

Investigators tell Guthrie News Page that an altercation occurred and the Hispanic males, who were allowed to stay at the home by the homeowner, attempted to steal a vehicle from the property.

No suspects have been taken into custody at this time and may have possibly caught a ride within the area.

Along with LCSO investigators, the Oklahoma Bureau of investigators was called in to investigate. OSBI will now lead the investigation.

Guthrie News Page will have more information as soon as it becomes available.
