OSBI offers reward for leads in Guthrie homicide case

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is seeking the public’s help in the murder case of Maurice Byrd found dead inside his Guthrie home Saturday.

A reward of $1,000 is now being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) who killed Maurice Byrd.

According to the OSBI, the Guthrie Police Department received a call from an anonymous individual recently with information on this case. That call was disconnected without the information obtained. The call came from the Ft. Smith, Arkansas, area code.

The OSBI is asking for that individual to please call back with the information. This time, they should call the OSBI at 1-800-522-8017.
