Logan County was the bullseye of early morning thunderstorms, which left its mark on at least one county road.
A portion of Post Road washed out due to the heavy rains. The location of the sink hole is a quarter mile south of Highway 105.
County Commissioner Mike Pearson says it’s uncertain when the road will be reopened. The commissioner is hopeful a temporary fix can be in place by Monday.
In other parts of the county, dirts roads were washed out leaving some impassable.
In Guthrie, several intersections were under water, but receded once the rains left the area.
Officially, 2.64 inches of rain was measured, but several rain gauges saw over three inches of rain.
