The Guthrie Police Department is on the look out for a man after he took money from a business, wrecked a vehicle and escaped on foot Tuesday afternoon.

PursuitJust after 2:40 p.m., a male suspect was spotted breaking into a coin dispenser at a Guthrie west side car wash and quickly darted away from the scene. He was followed by a person working at the car wash who called 911.

Officers were dispatched and attempted to pull the SUV over. Instead, the driver continued to drive away winding through city streets. Eventually the driver wrecked the maroon SUV at 1st Street and Lincoln into an area of over grown grass and trees. From there he took off on foot in around the Mineral Wells Park area.
