Busy intersection claims another vehicle wreck

Bookmark and Share

The intersection of Pine and Noble continues to have its fair share of vehicle accidents with the latest coming early Wednesday morning.

Guthrie crews responded to the area at 6:22 a.m. for a two-vehicle accident, that left one on its side.

A black 1997 Infiniti car driven by Kara Johnson was traveling west on Noble (Highway 33) attempting to turn south onto Pine when she failed to yield and struck a 1997 yellow Ford box truck driven by Alan Cook, who was traveling east, causing it to spin and turn onto its side on the shoulder of the highway.

No injuries were reported at the scene and both vehicles were towed away.

Just last month an early morning accident at the same spot resulted in one of the intersection’s street light poles being hit and fallen down onto the interstate.

  1. I think people need to be a little more cautious when they drive. I almost get into a wreck everytime I drive in town because people are just in a hurry and don’t think about anyone else.
