Red Brick Nights to launch July 5 with fireworks, new monthly format

Guthrie’s signature summer event, Red Brick Nights, is set to return with a bang — literally — on Saturday, July 5, with a festive Independence Day celebration and a major format change for the rest of the season.

The kickoff event will feature live performances by the Ross Clayton Band and Shortt Dogg, capped off by a massive fireworks show by Fireworkz A’ Poppin. The celebration promises a high-energy evening of music and patriotism in downtown Guthrie.

Starting in August and continuing through November, Red Brick Nights will take on a new form. Rather than one centralized stage at Wentz and Oklahoma, live music will be hosted at venues all across downtown on the first Saturday of each month. Guests can enjoy a mini-music festival atmosphere with performances spread across local restaurants, bars, and shops.

For those seeking a more family-friendly vibe, an outdoor stage will still be set up at the Shoppes area at Wentz & Oklahoma, entertaining for all ages.

Organizers are excited about the fresh take on the beloved event and hope it will allow residents and visitors alike to experience downtown Guthrie in a new and vibrant way.
