Road rage leads to foot pursuit; three people arrested

A road rage incident with a stolen vehicle led to a two-vehicle accident, a foot pursuit and eventually three people being arrested on Sunday afternoon.

Crime 06232013The Guthrie Police Department responded to the 200 block of E. Industrial Road just after 2 p.m. for the accident and learned Jordan Chase Buckmaster, 20, had taken off on foot into the woods.

As officers worked the accident, they received a phone call that Buckmaster was inside a restaurant. Upon the arrival of the officer, Buckmaster again took off on foot into a field. The officer, with the help of a Logan County deputy, were able to locate the suspect within minutes laying in tall grass and was immediately taken into custody.

Nicole Dawn Kruschik, a passenger, was booked with possession paraphernalia, possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of a controlled drug within 1000 feet of a day care. A second passenger, Porsha Michelle Hostetter was taken in for county warrants.

The Honda Civic vehicle, that Buckmaster was driving, was reported stolen out of Oklahoma City when it collided with a red Mustang.

Buckmaster is facing several charges, including assault and battery with a vehicle, possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of methamphetamine, fleeing the scene of an accident and obstructing an officer.
