The Guthrie school board unanimously (7-0) voted to increase athletic ticket prices in a special board meeting Tuesday evening.

The price increase will be effective for the 2010-2011 athletic season. The price increase was kept a very low minimal.

The All Sport Season passes for home games are now $60 for adults and $25 for GHS students.

Football season passes, that includes five varsity, four junior varsity, and four junior high games, are now $35. Reserved seating is set at $50 and single game tickets remain the same for adults at $5. Student tickets are now $5 for varsity football games.

“It’s still a great deal to watch all of our sports here at Guthrie,” athletic director Gary Boxley said.

Single game tickets for junior varsity, 9th grade, and junior high football remain the same at $4 for adults and $3 for students.

Guthrie basketball, wrestling, softball, baseball, and soccer single game tickets increased to $5 from $4, but student prices remain the same at $3. There was no price increase for junior high basketball, softball, and baseball.
