School officials highly encouraging parents to attend ICAC presentation

Guthrie school officials are highly encouraging parents to attend a free community event to help learn the safeguards and dangers of cell phones and the internet to help protect their children. The presentation is for adults only.

The event is set for Friday, April 8 at 6:30 p.m. inside the Guthrie High School gymnasium.

Lt. Adam Flowers with the Canadian County Sheriff’s Office, who has solved several cases with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC). Flowers, with the help Law Enforcement across the nation, has been successful in detecting and bringing to justice over 100 child predators.

Lt. Adam Flowers have conducted over 130 ICAC related investigations. Lt. Adam Flowers also does outreach programs for children and parents on Internet Safety where his goal is to educate children about the dangers of Social Media and the Internet.
