Power was lost for some Guthrie residents as well as two schol buildings, but was quickly restored Monday morning.
Power outage hit the east part of town, including Fogarty Elementary and St. Marys school, just after 6 a.m. and was back up and running just before 9 a.m.
OG&E reported 481 customers lost power.
The power company told Guthrie News Page a fuse was off at the Pine street sub station.
It was not a total loss, second and third grade students got an extra recess before hitting the books.
