Sheriff Devereaux running for re-election

Logan County Sheriff Damon Devereaux announced on New Year’s Day he will seek re-election in 2020.

Devereaux made the announcement with a social media post.

“I am running for re-election in 2020. Serving the citizens of Logan County as your Sheriff is an honor. I love what I do, and am blessed with a great team at LCSO. We appreciate your support,” the sheriff posted.

Devereaux won 14 of the 22 precincts in 2016 and collected 54.68 percent of the vote over then sheriff Jim Bauman.

Devereaux has been in office since Jan. 1, 2017 after serving as Chief of Police for the City of Guthrie.

If Devereaux collects a Republican challenger, the Primary election will be held June 30 with the General Election set for Nov. 3.

Sheriff Devereaux works hard every day to do more for all of Logan County. We are blest to have a strong Godly man in this high office. Please vote for Damon Devereaux on November 3, 2020.
