Skeeter the Clown made her way around some Guthrie elementary schools Tuesday afternoon to spread the word that the circus is coming to town.
Skeeter drew a large crowd at Central, Cotteral and Fogarty schools as she showed off her whistling skills and her ability to balance a tall feather on her finger, chin and nose. The balancing acts was approved by ooh’s and aah’s from pre-k all the way to the third graders.
Skeeter is a part of the Culpepper and Merriweather Circus, America’s Favorite Big Top Circus, who is coming to town on Wednesday, September 19 at the Cottonwood Flats with two scheduled performances at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

This presentation offers a unique face-to-face opportunity for families, schools, and interested community members to meet and learn all about the Culpepper and Merriweather Circus family and includes a walking tour of the circus grounds.
Learn interesting facts about our performers, the history of our show and the different species of animals in our Circus Family. In this presentation we will also address topics such as hygiene, grooming and the veterinary care all of our animals receive.

I am not sure of the cost. The Chamber of Commerce would have that information. If I find out this evening or early tomorrow, I will reply here.
I do believe tickets are $9 and $6.
