Sooner Success celebrates 16 years of serving families

November 30 was Sooner SUCCESS Day in Oklahoma.  This year Sooner SUCCESS celebrated 16 years of serving families of children with special needs.  Sooner SUCCESS is a program of OU Children’s created with the purpose of providing community based support and service navigation for children with special needs.

In honor of Sooner SUCCESS Day, the Logan County Partnership conducted a supply drive for Ms. Oliver’s elementary autism classroom at GUES.   Among the items collected were dry erase boards and markers and supplies for sensory activities.  The students will benefit from the support of the community.

For more information on how Sooner SUCCESS supports Guthrie families, please contact Brandy Parks. Ms. Parks is the Sooner SUCCESS Coordinator for Logan County.  She can be contacted by phone at 405-431-0709 or by e-mail at brandy-parks@ouhsc.edu
