The Sooner VFW Post #4578 Auxiliary continued theri community initiatives by donating $500 to Guthrie’s Hope House on Nov. 18.
Auxiliary President Heidi Sermons and Patriotic Advisor Shash Case presented the check to OJ Meyers, staff and residents.
The Auxiliary says will continue to support Hope House, a non-profit shelter that helps homeless members in their community.
Along with the cash donation, the Auxiliary invites the public to participate in their Diaper and Wipe Drive.
Items can be dropped at the VFW (5223 S. Division). In exchange, donors will receive tickets worth $1 each to redeem for food or beverages at the Auxiliary Grill during Tuesday Night Bingo.
