This past week 121 girls traveled to Chickasha from five states to compete for the National Our Diamond Miss Pageant. Our Diamond Miss is a scholarship pageant based in Oklahoma since 1980.
Sophie Evans, the 17-year-old daughter of Frankie and Donna Evans, was crowned National Supreme Model. This is the highest score of all contestants in casual wear and formal wear modeling combined with interview score.
Sophie was also awarded the Gary Semrad Outstanding Interview award for the highest interview score of the entire pageant.
Sophie has been competing in ODM since the age of 10 and has dreamed of a national title for years. She was quick to thank her family, friends and the community of Guthrie for their support.
