Update at 2:37 p.m. — The 911 operating system that was knocked out is now back up and running, according to the Guthrie Police Department.
The system was down for about two-and-half hours.

The statewide 911 operating system is currently not in use, including in the Guthrie area.
According to a report, the system was disabled early Wednesday morning by a power surge and fiber line cut in Oklahoma City. AT&T says the repairs could take up to 24 hours.
The issue started around 11 a.m.
Guthrie Police Department says citizens can call the non-emergency phone number at 405-282-3535.
