Three confirmed COVID-19 cases now in Logan County

The Oklahoma State Department of Health announced Wednesday morning Logan County now has three confirmed cases of COVID-19.

The county stood at one for several days until Wednesday’s announcement.

The first person to contract the virus in the county is recovering, according to local health department officials.

The state is up to 164 total cases, including now five deaths.

The two additional deaths are both from Oklahoma County, one male in his 70s and one male in his 40s.

New counties with cases include Adair, Bryan, Carter, Creek, Delaware, Osage, Pottawatomie and Stephens Counties.
