The Guthrie Lady Jays basketball team held their own early against Norman North, but were unable to keep up with the 6A ball club.
Norman North, ranked 10th in 6A, exploded in the second quarter for 19 points en route to the 63-41 on day two of the Duncan Tournament. Guthrie’s two game win streak is snapped and falls to 2-2 on the season.
The Lady Jays will playtournament host Duncan, on Thursday afternoon, at 1:00.
