A family-friendly event focused on safety, education, and hands-on fun is coming to Guthrie this weekend.
The “Touch the Trucks” Family Fun and Safety Fair will take place on April 26 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Meridian Technology Center South Campus, located at 3025 S Division Street.
The event will feature a variety of emergency vehicles and equipment, allowing families and children to get an up-close look at police cars, fire trucks, and other service vehicles. Organizers say the event is designed to promote safety awareness while providing an interactive experience for all ages.
In addition to the vehicle displays, attendees can take part in games, activities, and giveaways, and access community resource booths focused on prevention, education, and awareness. Food trucks will also be on site.
The event coincides with National Crime Victims’ Rights Week and aims to honor survivors, support families, and strengthen the community through outreach and engagement.
