One man was transported to a hospital and two brothers are thankful they were not injured after a truck came crashing into their home.

Emergency crews responded to a home in the 500 block of E. Oklahoma Ave. for a vehicle that had crashed into a home just before 11 a.m. on Saturday.

“This is how my brother and I weekend (is) going,” the resident said on social media while showing off the wreckage in photos.

“Thank God no one in the house was injured.”

The resident says he was out of town then, but his brother and his grandson were inside the home. Luckily, the two were not in the front portion of the home that was hit.

The driver of the 1993 Ford 250 appears to have suffered a medical event causing him to lose control, go airborne, and crash into the west side of the corner home.

Guthrie EMS took the 34-year-old driver to the hospital for treatment.

The residents said they’re thankful for great landlords who immediately began securing the home.
