Two vehicle accident leaves one car on its top on Noble Ave.

Traffic was diverted for several minutes off of Noble Ave. following a two vehicle accident on Monday afternoon.

A witness tells Guthrie News Page a SUV was traveling eastbound and a silver, four-door Pontiac Grand Am was traveling westbound on Noble at approximately 3:10 p.m.

The witness said the Grand Am attempted to turn off of Noble Ave. onto Park Street, but instead collided with the oncoming SUV.

The impact on the SUV’s front passenger side sent the Grand Am onto its top partially in the roadway.

The female in the SUV was transported non-emergency by the Guthrie Fire Department to Mercy Logan County Hospital for further evaluation.

The male driver of the Grand Am was treated at the scene and refused transport.

Traffic was reopened completely at 4:01 p.m. after emergency personnel worked the accident and the vehicle was removed from the road.
