The Campaign Celebration was also the setting for United Way of Logan County to present three distinguished awards. Companion Home Health and Hospice received the Corporate Spirit award, Sheila Steen was awarded Volunteer of the Year, and David Ball received the Newcomer of the Year award.

Dollars raised through the United Way of Logan County support ten, local non-profit organizations, called Partner Agencies.  All programs are reviewed annually by donor volunteers to ensure contributions are properly invested.

Steve Gentling, United Way President, remarked, “Donor contributions make it possible for United Way Partner Agencies to continue to provide resources to meet the needs of our friends, our families, our neighbors and those we may never meet. We are so grateful to the community for being a part of the United Way story.”
