The annual Victorian Walk was another successful season for the city of Guthrie and the downtown merchants and for some of those merchants they received a bonus for the best windows.
Businesses held a competition for the best window and coming away as the winner this year was the Heritage Collection. Boyd and Linda Rice have operated the store for several years and with the top window took in an extra $200.
Taking second place was the Genealogical Society who were setup at the Kokopelli Village Antiques building. The group claimed a prize of $150.
Third place was the Blue Belle Saloon ($100) and Rosa Bella took fourth ($50).
The windows were judged by their unique look and authenticity of the Victorian era.
