Friends, family and co-workers gathered in the small Logan County courtroom Monday morning for the swearing in of Cheryl Smith as the interim Court Clerk.
Smith will fill-in for the remainder of the year for ReJeania Zmek, who resigned her post to retire. Smith served as First Deputy in the clerk’ office and was recommended by Zmek to be her successor. Related story: Cheryl Smith appointed interim Logan County Court Clerk; BOCC video meeting
