The Logan County Commissioners made appointments to the EMS Board of Trustees and the Logan County Excise/Equalization Board during their regular scheduled meeting on Friday morning inside the Courthouse Annex Building.

With a 3-0 vote, Terry Hamilton, a retired Nichols Hills fire chief, was appointed to the EMS board. Dan Ladd was added to represent District No. 3 for the Excise board with a 2-0 vote.

Hamilton was selected over Robert Carey for the EMS 522 board.

Ladd, along with current board member John Pfeiffer whose term is set to expire, were the two lone applicants seeking the Excise board position. Commissioner Monty Pierce abstained from the vote.

In other action, the commissioners approved the title sheet for the Skeleton Creek bridge for Mehlburger Brawley Engineers.

A window air unit from the county clerk’s office was declared surplus and voted to be disposed.
