Guthrie returns to Jelsma Stadium on Friday night to honor its seniors and close the regular season against the Duncan Demons. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
The Bluejays (6-3, 4-1) have secured second place in District 5A-1 and will host a first-round playoff game next Friday night against Lawton MacArthur. A win over Duncan would give Guthrie five straight victories and a 5-1 finish in district play.
Guthrie is coming off a 45-7 win at Durant, where the Bluejays led 24-0 at halftime, and Codie Carlock intercepted two passes. Guthrie has won six of seven games since opening the season 0-2. Its only loss in that stretch was a 17-16 decision at Carl Albert.
Duncan enters at 2-7 overall and 0-5 in district play following a 32-3 loss to Lawton. The teams last met in Guthrie’s 2025 home opener, when the Bluejays defeated the Demons 42-10 at Jelsma Stadium.
GNP TV pregame coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. Fans can watch live on the Guthrie News Page Facebook and YouTube channels.
