Human remains were located on Wednesday evening. Now, an investigation is underway.
The remains were located around 8:45 p.m. near Heather Road and Battle Ave.
The Guthrie Police Department responded and determined the body had been in the location for an
extended period of time.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has been requested to assist in the ongoing investigation.
