Watch: LCSO delivers holiday gifts to children across the county

With the help of generous donors and the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, children across the county were filled with Christmas gifts through the Angel Tree Program.

Many dropped by the Sheriff’s Office visited the tree and pulled a card which provided information on a child’s wish list for the holiday season.

Last week, deputies, dispatchers, and volunteers wrapped hundreds of gifts as Christmas music played throughout the building. Santa Claus even dropped by to watch all his helpers spread holiday cheer.

Afterward, it was time to load the Sheriff’s mobile unit, pack Santa and go out to deliver gifts.

All the children came to the command center and were greeted by Santa and gifts.

“We truly appreciate the work of each of the schools and churches throughout our county that participated in this event as it would not work without their cooperation,” a sheriff spokesperson said.

This season marks the fourth year of the program.
