Wreck halts traffic for several minutes on S. Division St.

A two vehicle accident on Monday evening delayed traffic on S. Division St. for several minutes.

Just after 5 p.m. a white, four-door Nissan Altima was traveling southbound in the 1600 block of S. Division St. when it was struck by a four-door gray Nissan Versa.

According to a witness, the Nissan Versa attempted to pull out of the south Wal Mart exit when it struck the oncoming vehicle.

Two people were in each vehicle, but no injuries were reported and all four declined EMS transport to the local hospital.

Both northbound and southbound lanes were cut down to one lane until both vehicles were able to be towed from the scene.

The southbound lanes were shut down for approximately 30 minutes.
