Wrestling trio takes titles; booster club set up

At the beginning of the wrestling season, a few wrestlers were held out of early action due to the extended football season as well as some injuries. Those grapplers took part in the Yukon Wrestling Tournament over th weekend.

Bryan Dutton, Landry Chappell and John Davison captured their weight divisions for the championship bracket. The trio finished with a perfect 10-0 mark. Photo Gallery

Austin O’Connor finished his tw0-day event with a consolation championship.

Dutton took the title with a 3-0 decision while Chappell and Davison each captured two falls en route to their win.

The Jays will next be in action Thursday when they host the Piedmont Wildcats before traveling to Chickasha for a Friday and Saturday tournament.

Booster Club
