(5:25 AM) Update after severe weather went through Logan County.
Emergency Management and their volunteers, along with law enforcement, are canvassing the county looking for damage from County Line Road (west of Crescent) to east of Guthrie.
Most of the damage is going to be tree lines and power poles.
Parts of Cedar Valley do not have power. Over 900 Guthrie customers are without power, along with 200 in Crescent.
SH 33 at Pennsylvania is closed due to downed trees. Crews are out working to clear roadways.
Storm sirens were activated, but not all the sirens sounded off. They rely on power, and some may have lost power, causing them not to go off.
Weather Radios remain down for scheduled testing.
One couple was stuck in their cellar due to a tree falling on their cellar door.
The new daycare center (former church) near Cimmaron City has roof damage. Nearby outbuildings were also damaged.
Debris and damage reported in the Triple Crown Meadows addition (Pine and Midwest Blvd.).
All three Logan County Road districts are out checking their roadways.
Power flashes were seen near Cimmaron City when the storms came through, as a tornado was reported to be on the ground.
Guthrie saw high winds, but luckily, they came down from 90 mph to 60 mph as the storm approached Guthrie proper.
