The Guthrie Fire Department is expressing deep appreciation to Dolese for their generous donation of a cab and chassis, a gift that will directly improve fire protection services for the community.
The donated 2017 model cab and chassis will be used to build a new tanker, which will be stationed at the future site of Fire Station 2. This addition will significantly enhance the department’s capacity to respond to emergencies across Guthrie and surrounding areas.
“We are genuinely grateful for Dolese’s continued support,” the department said in a statement. “Partnerships like this make all the difference and strengthen our ability to serve and protect.”
Last December, City of Guthrie officials finalized the agreement for the property located in the 4800 block of S. Division Street, just south of SouthPointe Baptist Church.
