The Uptown Gals in Guthrie have put a musical idea that will be heard out all over the streets of downtown Guthrie this weekend.

Local downtown business owners Ann Tisher, Keely Northup, Elaine Bonine and Debbie Prather have collected 13 featured performers, along with youth musicians, to perform in local downtown stores all day Saturday (March 31) and ending the weekend, on Sunday, with the sounds of the Al Good Orchestra.

The music starts Saturday morning at 11 a.m. and continues until the late evening hours.

The tea dance featuring ballroom dancing and big band music is from 2:30 to 5:30 on Sunday, April 1st at the R&R Restaurant and Event Center, located in the old Santa Fe Depot. Tickets for the Sunday dance will be available at the door for $15 a person or $25 for a couple.
